Every story begins with a single step. And Raúl Pérez's journey commenced in 2003 when he embarked on his most personal project. Ultreia (which in Latin means "let's go further") was the greeting used by pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago to encourage one another. This is precisely what Raúl Pérez did: he dared to forge his own path. Regarded as one of the world's finest winemakers, Raúl Pérez pursued his own course with Ultreia, delving into the various vineyards of his native Bierzo: Ultreia Saint-Jacques, Ultreia Godello, Ultreia La Claudina, Ultreia de Valtuille, Ultreia El Rapolao...
