White wine Young.
Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a pale yellow white wine with delicate greenish reflections, fresh and radiant from the very first moment. On the nose, it combines tropical fruit, green apple, and a subtle vegetal hint of tomato leaf, in a clean and balanced ensemble. On the palate, it is silky and firm, with a freshness that sweeps across the palate and a pleasant, lingering finish. About Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc
What transpires when a grape as distinctive as sauvignon blanc is transplanted to a different landscape? In Casablanca, amidst the mist rolling in from the Pacific and the coolness of the Coastal Range, it discovers a more radiant, vibrant expression, profoundly connected to its surroundings. Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc offers an excellent opportunity to explore this alternative aspect of the variety: one that gazes towards Chile and adeptly harnesses its cool climate to convey freshness without sacrificing character.
Santa Digna has been intertwined with the history of Miguel Torres in Chile since 1979, when the family embarked on their journey to the Curicó Valley with the aim of establishing a project deeply rooted in the land. The name also carries a small emblem of that expedition: the stone crosses that once delineated land boundaries and safeguarded those venturing to distant places. Today, that vision endures in a viticulture increasingly dedicated to the landscape, from the historic vineyards to initiatives in organic and regenerative agriculture.
Produced exclusively from sauvignon blanc in Casablanca, this white wine allows the climate to perform much of the work. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures, without oak or malolactic fermentation, to preserve all their vitality and freshness. In the glass, it feels clean, expressive, and light, with a blend of fresh fruit, delicate vegetal notes, and an acidity that enlivens the palate. A straightforward, refreshing wine with enough personality to remind you that a familiar variety can still astonish.
Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc is a wine seemingly crafted for an alfresco table, accompanied by something fresh to eat and an afternoon that stretches on without too many plans. Santa Digna Sauvignon Blanc invites you to experience the familiar with a different perspective, to discover how a well-known variety can change its accent when it encounters a new landscape. Because sometimes, there is no need to seek something new: it's enough to view the familiar from another vantage point.
